William Morris Ward Residents Association

Meeting Dates and Records, Association Constitution, Links to Local Services, and a few other bits and pieces

The William Morris Residents Association is a group of residents who live in William Morris Ward in Walthamstow (E17).  We meet about every 3 months to discuss local issues affecting residents in the ward.  It is run by a few volunteers who chair and organise the meetings, and write the minutes.  Please let us know if you would like to volunteer.

Meetings are normally attended by Ward Councillors, local police (Safer Neighbourhoods Team), and Council Anti-Social Behaviour Officers.  They are an opportunity to hear updates and raise issues of concern.

We also organise a monthly litter pick in the ward on the second weekend of each month.  The meeting point changes, so please join the WhatsApp list to get the updates ahead of these.

If residents have other ideas for community activities that we could support, please come to the meeting and make your suggestions.

Meetings will also include online Zoom connection, link up information will be emailed out the day before the meeting.  Please note that the Zoom setup is quite basic as we do not have the funds for equipment - it is fine for listening in but it can be hard to contribute.  We strongly advise attending in person if you wish to contribute.

We send out a reminder email, but please note the association is run by volunteers so please understand we may not be as efficient as we would like to be.
